Horton hears a....WHO?

It was movie night at the park again on Friday and they were showing "Horton hears a Who" so we packed up the kids and all the soft squishy stuff we could find and headed to the park. First we had to say hi to Horton.

And Ryan had a sucker....
Then we watched the movie. This is Ryan and Roslyn enjoying the movie together. Ryan went home soon after he was so tired but the girls and I stuck it out and stayed to the end. It was a really good movie and I laughed out loud a few times. Now if I could just get my allergies to calm down....UGH!

Im in a haze

I finally found someone to borrow Breaking Dawn from and I have been reading since yesterday. I did take a few minutes for lunch but it is five and I have nothing in the works for dinner. We are supposed to go swimming tonight but I am not sure I can tear my self away. I didnt even care when my friend cancelled our playdate today. Soooo is anyone else disturbed by how much the pregnancy reminds you of Rosemarys Baby? (I am not as cool as some of you so I couldnt make the words the link but here is a reference http://imdb.com/title/tt0063522/)

She is so smart!

Look what Jessie can do!

Ward Campout

I am not sure why adults find the urge to pack up their house and drive into the woods and sleep next to all their neighbors listening to them all snore and get up to go peepee and their babies waking up in the cold of the night crying. It has to be for the kids. Jeff was working this weekend so I adventured out on my own with the kids and we camped old school in a tent.
Jessie and Ryan were dirty in the first 10 minutes but I am glad that I went because they had a blast.
Ryan was so stinkin cute in his little hat I just had to take a picture.
Here he is in the tent after a good meal of dirt and rocks. He thought that the tent was for wrestling because everytime we were in the tent he started laughing like a mad man and trying to crawl away from me. It was a fun weekend and I am glad I did it but boy was I tired afterward.

She is on her way

About two weeks ago it occured to me that I should have Cassie in some sort of organized school type activities. She will be five at the end of this month which makes her just miss the cutoff for Kindergarden so preschool was our next option. I didnt think I would get her in anywhere since I was applying so late but we found her a spot at the College preschool. Her first day was last Wednesday and it went great! She had a lot of fun and it was nice to be able to spend more time with just Jessie while Ryan was taking a nap. Jessie was very sad that she didnt get to go to school too until I told her we were going to get some ice cream.....problem solved. :)
