Snow Day!!!

Yup you read that correctly. We had a pretty sweet snow day today. The really cool rain jackets and unbrellas and my super sweet shoes as well as Ryan snuggly outfit were perfect timing!!! Thanks Cassandre you sure know how to make the girls excited! We sure love you lots!

wow! I am sooo thankful for the people in my life. This morning started out quite rough for us. Jess didnt sleep well again last night and I had to fight her to get her meds in her. Cass was about fed up with Jess getting all the attention and was letting everyone know it. And Ryan? Well even the best baby in the world needs to be fed and changed and loved.......I was feeling streched thin. Anyway half way through a bag of doritos and a bowl of peanut M&M's I thought I better call someone and talk instead of eat my stress! So I called my Momma. We chatted for a while and before she hung up she said check your mail. When the mail came not only was there a package from her but Cassandre had sent some stuff too. So these pics are the stuff Cass sent for Ryan (sooooooooooo cute!) And the fun activities my mom sent for Jess. She Loved the book! Anyway it made the whole day a lot easier for me to get through. It always makes me happy to get stuff in the mail.

She Made It

Our little bug did such a great job! She was so happy and fun in the pre op area that all the nurses were coming to watch her dance. The surgery was quick and they brought me right back to hold her as she woke up. She was not sucha happy camper afterward but bounced back so fast by the time we got home I am shocked. She has eaten tons of pudding, ice cream, apple sauce and even a cheese crisp. I also could not keep her in bed. I think I went through every activity I had planned in the first two hours. We finally got some nasty medicine in her about three and she zonked out at my feet about 45 minutes later. She is sleeping now.....thank goodness.

Bye Bye Tonsils

Well Jessie got the O.K. and she will be haing surgery on jan 25th. We are excited because her sleep has been so interupted by this as well as her voice. The doctor said we should see an extreme improvement in her disposition as well as her sleeping habits. I will keep you all updated on her situation.

Ryans new bathtub

How many times in your life can you put your baby in a toilet and not have it be an issue for CPS? "Why would you WANT to put your baby in a toilet?" you ask, Well so you have embarassing pictures to show his girlfriends of course. We really like our new toilet it has a half flush feature so we save water and it comes in one piece so you dont have nasty cracks to clean. Yeay everyone come christen the toilet!!!

Ok she really just found a tube of sample mascara. But I think she did manage to get some on her eyelashes. How can you get mad at them ahen they do such funny things?

New Year New Me!

Ok not really. I am happy with who I am but I am trying to get a little more activity into my day. I enjoy doing my stationary bike (thanks Becca!) and that is good enough for me until it warms up a little.

So Phoenix was great we really had a lot of fun. Jeff surprised me with a toaster oven. It is quite high tech we have had fun with it. I also got flannel sheets some bowls for the kitchen and my mom got us some food storage as well as everything I needed to make homemade bread. It turned out pretty good but there is always room for improvement. So next time you stop by ask for some yummy homemade bread.

On New Years we decided to have some friends over to play games. We threw the kids into the front room and the adults chilled in the back. I went crazy making deviled eggs taco dip shrimp dip mozarella sticks, and a crock pot full of wieners and meatballs. One of our friends asked if I was always that high octaine since we hadnt planned on having anyone over until the night before and I managed to make enough food for an army AND bake bread that day. Anyway we have been polishing off the leftovers this whole week.

Cassies new year will include gymnastics on Wednesdays at Bare Foot Gym. She is sooooo excited. She starts next week so we will see how she likes it.

Jessie may have a tonsilectomy in her future. After sleeping in the same room with her for a week we decided that her snoring was not only annoying but not natural. So the other day I took her to the doctor and told him all the problems she was having, like not sleeping well at night, snoring, talking like she has a mouth full of marbles, irritability during the day. So he took one peek in her mouth and said "Oh Yeah, those babies are almost touching". She has an appintment with an ear nose and throat doctor in about a week and a half so we will see what he says.
