"The only way to get through life is to laugh your way through it. You either have to laugh or cry. I prefer to laugh. Crying gives me a headache." ~ Marjorie Pay Hinckley
Cassie and I went crazy one day and decided to glam it up at the pool. She loved it! I have quite the little fashionista on my hands. I did silver sparkles on my eyes and Cassie wanted silver and pink. We were the talk of play group. Jessie had some done too but didnt want to pose like Cassie.
Ryan learned a new word just in time for Fathers Day. No no Da da that one he has been saying for a while. You may have to turn the music down to hear him say it.
After seven years of marriage I decided that it was time for a shake up so I had a friend do a little change to my hair. I had so many compliments on it at church yesterday it was crazy. I think it turned out really good. But the funny thing is this is how I looked when Jeff met me so I guess I was just going back to my "roots" . :)

Nine years ago I met my best friend.
Seven years ago I married my best friend for time and all eternity in the Mesa, Arizona temple.
We had two beautiful daughters
And then a handsome son.
Jeff you have always been there when I needed you.
You are my biggest supporter.
And you know I will always be there for you when you need to be carried,
even if it means a sore back.
You are my prince charming
my knight in shinning armor
my foot warmer, my partner in crime, the father of my children and my island of sanity in the sea of craziness. You may not be the most romantic of guys but you sure are my favorite and I wouldnt trade you for anything. Happy Anniversary!!!
Thank You for giving me the best seven years of my life and the anticipation of so many more. I love you more then ever and I cant wait to see what is in store for us next.
As I was running around the house getting dinnerready vaccuming and just picking up Cassie put in a Wiggles CD. I came into the back room and saw all three of the kids mesmerized by the video. Ryan was particularly cute because he had pulled himself up on a chair and was just standing there like a big boy watching the Wiggles. He did that for at least 15 minutes. I kept thinking he would get bored and go do something else but I finally snapped a picture cause he kept doing it. It just dawned on me yesterday how much he pulles himself up on stuff. I keep hoping that he will just stay at a stage and the next time I turn around he is doing something else. I think I may have to duct tape his feet together to get him to slow down.
We all scream for ice cream! I won 3 gallons of ice cream from Blue Bunny on Saturday. I am not sure how we will manage to eat it all but it looks like Ryan is willing to help. I think I may take it as our desert for the Ward Party on Saturday.
We have an announcement......we have a few new additions to the family. The girls each picked a kitty out from Malissas latest litter, they dont have names yet but they sure are enjoying them.
Jessie has been quite my challenge lately. To prove how bad she has become today when we told her to put her shoes on so we could go for a walk she said "I wear them wrong way mom" she kept repeating it until I looked at her and said fine wear them the worng way. And she did all the way to and from the store. She is the only two year old I know that puts her shoes on the wrong way on purpose. Oh and she put Ryans shorts on instead of her own. I gues you gotta love her tenacity to be stubborn.
We were watching the news last night while I was preparing dinner and the started talking about the tomato recall. Then the newslady said "several resturaunts have stopped serving tomatoes including McDonalds Burger King and Taco Bell." Cassie turned to me with the most excited look on her face and said, "They arent giving out tomatoes anymore!? I dont like tomatoes." I know most of the magic is probably lost in translation but I wanted to get this one in writing so I would remember it.
Every once in a while I get an overwhelming spirit of love for my adopted hometown so I have decided to share the reasons why I love St George with everyone. Dont worry I will spread it out over a few posts. One of the coolest things about moving downtown was the incredibly clear water that runs down the gutters. It is irrigation water for people to use if they have rights for it. Last night we took the kids across the street and raced rubber duckies down the gutter. And of course Ryan the nudist wanted in on the action too.
It was just too hot to put Ryan in a onesie last night so I just put him to sleep in a diaper. I should have known what would happen because he did this last time too. I dont know how he does it but he prefers to sleep in the nude. At least this time he didnt poop! (The girls think it is funny to throw stuff in his crib to wake him up, so that is why all that stuff is in there)
