Pioneer Day and a retainer dig...

Our stake holds a pioneer breakfast every July 24th and one of the girls in our ward accidentaly threw her retainer away so we joined in the dig to find it. It was in one of the last bags of garbage we had to look through but guess who found it!?! Me!!

Rosalyn and her mommy Lilac and her sister Annabelle came with us that morning. She is a day younger then Ryan and such a cutie!

I think we stayed about 10 minutes too long!

Beccas Here!

Lunch at costco on Saturday.
Our two little bugs at Del Taco on Friday.
Benson is about three weeks older then Ryan, but I am pretty sure he could swallow him whole if he wanted to!

Memory Lane

I love this because you only participate if you want to.

This is how it works:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.EVERYBODY PLAY! I want to see what memories are out there!!

The next morning

As you can see we really dodged a bullet with her eye. I dont think it will get any more swollen or black so hopefully it will heal quickly.

Rough Day

So we had quite a rough day today. Poor Ryan woke up with rivers of snot and drool pouring out of every opening. He has two teeth coming in on top and I dont think his body is happy about it. He started running a fever after his morning nap and has been barely tolerable all day. I was very happy for bedtime for that poor baby. And as you can see Jessie had a run in with the edge of a table this afternoon. This picture was taken right after the incident. I gave her tylenol and put frozen peas on her face. She fell asleep rather quickly after that.
This one is two hours later around 5-5:30.
And this one was taken about 9 as we were getting ready for bed. I dont think it is getting any worse and we are darn lucky that she didnt need stitches. Guess she has more Osness then Hilton in her.
My poor teething Booza!!

I love being a girl part three

Erin has decided that having five children five and under has not kept her busy enough so she has opened an online bow store. We just got our first shipment on Saturday and the girls went NUTS! This is the full extent of our collection at the moment. I know crazy right but I am definately getting some more. I still need to get blue and royal purple and then all the colors again in the medium size.
Here is the big size. They really turned out great I love them. If you want to get some of your own you can check out my link to her website. or just go to www.bows4my4girls.com.

Kinda like a bears butt......

Ryan had his first haircut last week. So here are a few befores. Notice all the stickie uppies. And his swirlie in the back.
This is about halfway through the cut.
And the back.
Here is the casualties. They ended up in an envelope in his baby box. My boy is getting to be such a grown up.

Just hangin' around

Hillary and I went to The Childrens Place yesterday and got some great deals so I had to put Ryan in my favorite he just looks so grown up. Actually the overalls and onesie were a gift from Hillary because I wasnt going to buy them but I am so glad she did they really are my favorite!

Kyler (Jeffs nephew) had a birthday party yesterday so we stopped by for a bit to celebrate. The party was held at a new park in town that had all these crazy contraptions to play on. So Jeff and Roger were trying to figure out the weird swingy hangy thing. They never did figure out how to do it. But Sarah sure thought it was funny.

Baby Sarah

Ok so she is not so much of a baby anymore especially since she will be a big sister at the end of the year, but she is so much fun to hang out with! Sarah is Roger's little girl, she is about 17 months old and really smart and so cute. While Roger and Hillary have been visiting this week we have been able to take care of Sarah a few times and all of the kids love having her around. Here is some video of Ryan and Sarah playing yesterday.

Family Reunion

Be glad I am sparing you all the video of Jeff and Roger doing Karaoke the Osness Family Reunion was last Saturday but so much has happened since then it feels like months ago. We had a really good time and raised a lot of money for next years reunion. Every year they get better! Malissa does a really good job.

Has this happened to you?

I went to Smiths the other day because we were having BLT's for dinner and a juicy watermelon sounded so good for a side dish. So I get home and cut it open and this is what I had. An albino watermelon. So being the eternal optomist I thought "maybe it still tastes good". Well you know when you eat the watermelon all the way to the white part, then you eat the white part accidentally because you are going too fast? Yeah it was just one big nasty no flaver white part. :( So I had to drive all the way back to Smiths and return it. Such a bummer.

This video may make you a little sick to watch but it is so cute and is a perfect representation of just how much fun Ryan is ALL THE TIME! This is what he is doing pretty much all day.

I know I know you all saw fireworks in the last few days.....well Sheri you probably didnt but anyway I just had to brag on how super awesome it is to be able to view the festivities from my own front yard. Yes it was so awesome and yes you are all invited to our BBQ next year. This was taken from my front steps. We had moved the party in when the sun went down and we were playing the wii in the front room. But the really cool part was we put up a sheet in the window and used a projector so you could see the game from the inside and the outside. So when the fireworks started our house looked like an angry ant hill we all came pouring out to see the fun. And boy was it fun. Definately on my top five best 4ths.

Belly Floppin'

When we went swimming on Tuesday Cassie kept diving into the pool but it was looking more like a belly flop. But by the time I got my dads camera figured out she was doing more of a dive then a belly flop. Oh well they were both cute.

Grandma, Aunt Erin, swimming, and fireworks! Whew!!

My momma came last Tuesday to help me turn my house upside down and get it completly organized. Jeff was in Dallas until Sunday so we didnt have any distractions (except the kids and eating and shopping). So this Monday my sister Erin and her brood of 5 came into town also. We had a fun two days but they are headed up to Grandma Hiltons in Bountiful for the 4th. Here is a few of the things we did. After the first night. Ryan biffed right after this picture was taken. He had drooled on Dillon and Dillon didnt think that was very cool so he let go. I dont think he realized that Ryan doesnt stand on his own yet.
The girls watching fireworks that Jeff was lighting. Nina loved the show until we started doing the loud ones.
Baby Anna she is 5 weeks and just the sweetest little thing.
Swimming at the hotel pool.
Jeff doing the pyrotechnics. I am sooooo tired I dont want to do anything for a week. But we have to get ready for our big 4th of July party on Friday. I guess I will take one day to recover then off I go again.
