MMMMMMM Shrimp!

After spending two weeks on our back room it was time to celebrate with our anual trip to Red Lobster for all you can eat shrimp! We have been doing this every fall since Cassie was born.
I beat my old record and ate 45.
Jeff went up to 111 but I was bored so I made him stop. This is what I did while Jeff was eating the rest of his shrimp.
It was a fun and delicious night, I cant wait until next year. The camera broke so we used Jeffs phone so the pictures are not the best but you get the idea it was a lot of shrimp.

Happy Birthday Cassie!

Five years ago you made me a mommy. I admit it has taken me a long time to be a good one and I am still learning every day but you are so loving and patient with me and I love you so much for it! I got to spend some time with Cassie at preschool today and the kids were asking her questions about herself. Here is the low down on Cassie in her own words.
What is your favorite color? PINK!!!

what do you like to wear? princess
what is your favorite game? princess
who do you like to playwith? Barbie
what is your favorite movie? the new barbie one

as you can see there is a trend. Cassie is also a great sister both to Jessie and Ryan. She does like to tease Jess but most of the time they play so well it is scary.

Cassie also loves to paint and color. She always likes to help in the kitchen and sleeps with her favorite Care bear. She loves her dad and likes to "work" on the extra computer in the office. She told me on Friday that because it was her birthday she was going to pick where we were going to eat dinner. So I asked her where she wanted to go "Texas Road House" she said. Oh yeah she is also crazy for dolphins. Happy Birthday Cass! I am so glad you are mine!!

Its princess party time!

Yeah her birthday isnt until Monday but today was the big party. They had a treasure hunt

this is a mirror that two of her friends made to hang in her room. It turned out very cute and the best part is it isnt too girly so she can use it for a very long time.

There was even a knight in shining armor!
Yeah I totally rocked thios cake but I guess the concept went over Cassies head cause she and her friends just laughed that I shoved a doll into a cake.
I also rocked Cassies hair it took a while but tirned out really cute. Becca hit the nail on the head with the pink hairspray it was the perfect accent.
We also did makeup which we let the girls do themselves. I guess we need to work on the less is more.
It was a very fun day but I am sooo worn out. Tomorrow we get to put the house back together.

The Rodeo

Not only did we get the back room tiled last weekend but the Dixie round up rodeo was that weekend too. So after working all day we invited our friends to come and enjoy the parade with us. So we packed up all the pizza left over from lunch and some drinks and walked the few blocks down to watch the parade. I dont think it was quite as fun as last year but the friends were much more fun. Cant wait till next year!!

Thanks to all the familys that came today to help out with the tile. We couldnt have asked for a better set of friends!

Meals

So we have been banished to the great outdoors to take in nourishment since our table is currently without a home. The nice thing is I can just whip out the hose and spray everything down after dinner so I dont have to worry about letting Ryan try to feed himself.

Say no to crack......or......Mud can be fun

We finished puting up the drywall and finished the rest of the taping, well except for two corners but we ran out of mud and unfortunately Home Depot is not open 24 hours.



So I discovered that taping is WAAAAAAY more fun with your hands! I think it is easier too. Tomorrow we start texturing and I am excited because we are going to try a new technique that lets you get more creative then just using a hopper.

Cassies birthday is coming up on the 29th so we just HAD to plan an uber cool Princess Ball for next weekend. I figured it would be my incentive to get the house pulled back together by then. Tonight the princess mounted her faithful steed and set out in the sunset to deliver her invitations. It is so fun to watch her interact with the other kids. I let her make her own guest list this year and help me plan the party. I do have a few surprises for her too. I am really excited for the party!
